COUNTRIES I’VE VISITED
|I’m Rachel Schultz, but I’ve only been her for a little more than five minutes. I married David Schultz on May 12, 2012 and now we live
|a glamorous life in Michigan, where we just moved into our first home. Just one week before we got married, we graduated from Michigan State University. At the core of our possible future parenting strategy is teaching our children what proper sports allegiances should be. I hate dogs and Olive Garden and like opinionated people.
RECIPES & MEAL PLANNING
I cannot overemphasize how little I know about cooking. To quote the very famous and 100% fictional chef Auguste Gusteau, “anyone can cook” (Ratatouille, 2007). But yes, it is true. Anyone can cook, including me. I spend my day exploring blogs and cookbooks to assemble what turn out to be delicious meals. I do it all for David. And for you, reader.
HOME & CRAFTS
Through God providing for us in an unlikely way, we get to live in a house much larger and nicer than two just married, recent graduates should get to live in. My philosophy on home decor is make or buy things you like and you’ll find a place for it. I never have a thoroughly thought out plan for a room or color scheme. If you think this is an unrealistic method, it will all be documented here so you can watch it crash and burn or see me succeed to my glory. (After that comment a sarcasm disclaimer is needed.)
Sarcasm is a prerequisite for getting the most out of this blog. If you’re a person who “doesn’t get sarcasm,” that’s fine; God made you that way. But please, use this helpful tool. If you read something offensive, reread it as the opposite of whatever is written. People of all comedic types are welcome here.
Yes, we just got married. Wedding blogging is my favorite blogging.
Having a relationship with Jesus is the foundation of my life and the most important thing about me. I desire to live a life in service to Him. I wake up expectant for what God has planned for me for each day. I think about God often, so I can’t help but writing about him sometimes too.

Oh, I have a Twitter.
Take a look at the Facebook page.
Everyday at 6:00am you’ll see a new post from me. I like consistency! And figure you probably do too. I am inspired with new ideas for my website by other blogs I like. I’m always on the look out for good ones, so tell me about yours and check out the Blogs I Love tab.
