Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
3/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons water
Whisk together sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and water. Pour sauce over chicken in slow cooker. Slow cook on low for four hours.
Serve with your choice of vegetables and steamed rice. Or for a real treat, try it in Better-Than-Takeout Chicken Fried Rice.
