A pineapple bowl is
very practical great for a dramatic and impressive food presentation.
Pineapple Bowl Shrimp
Makes 2 servings
1 pound of shrimp
1 and 1/2 cups rice
5 green onions, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
Prepare rice according to package directions and set aside. Slice pineapple in half.
Hollow out both halves to make two bowls. This will be
effortless and beautiful tricky. I used a large spoon and knife combo.
Remove tails of shrimp and saute in a skillet on high heat for about 2 minutes. Add garlic, green onion, red peppers and diced pineapple to the shrimps. (Use the pineapple you hollowed out from the bowls).
Continue to saute for about 5-7 minutes.
Add rice and cook for 2 more minutes, stirring the rice into the other ingredients.
Spoon into pineapple bowls and serve. Add soy sauce and garnish with cilantro.
